Confidentiality & Safeguarding (For Minors)

At Blueprint Life Skills Curriculum, we respect each child’s privacy and create a safe space for them to express themselves. At the same time, we follow strict safeguarding practices when working with minors.

What confidentiality means:
• Conversations shared during sessions are treated with care and respect
• We encourage openness, trust, and a psychologically safe environment for learning

Limits of confidentiality (when we must disclose):

As part of our duty of care, confidentiality may be limited if:
• There is a concern that the child may be at risk of harm to themselves or others
• There are indications of abuse, neglect, or unsafe environments
• There are serious safety or wellbeing concerns that require adult or professional intervention

In such situations, we will:
• Inform parents/guardians where appropriate
• Take necessary steps in line with safeguarding practices to ensure the child’s safety

Our commitment:

Blueprint Life Skills Curriculum follows ethical coaching and youth mentoring guidelines, and all mentors are trained to handle confidentiality responsibly while prioritising the safety and wellbeing of every child.
